Thanks to everyone who came along to the play reading social on 17th August. It was good to see some old and new faces.
We are potentially planning a Murder Mystery for our Autumn production. If you would like to act in our Murder Mystery then you’ll need to be able to commit to:
- Tuesday rehearsals from 7.30pm starting on 4th September.
- Technical rehearsal on Sunday 25th November.
- Stage production on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December.
- If required, there may be further rehearsals near to the production date.
The Murder Mystery may require some improvisation, please let us know if you would be comfortable with this.

We’re sorry but this will be limited to adult actors for this production.
We’re looking for new members! If you are interested in finding out more about the Chelford Players come along for a social night on 17th July at The Egerton Arms from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
Come and join us for a drink to find out more. We’re looking for people who might be interested in:
– painting scenery or props
– costume making
– building a stage
– simply being involved by selling tickets for our event.
Anyone can join, children need to be 7 and over. If you have children that might be interested in getting on the stage, come along to our social and find out more.

Entries are now closed for the Chelford Drama Festival.
There will be 2 to 3 one-act plays across each of the nights of the festival, with final judging and awards given out on Saturday night.

The Chelford Players are hosting a drama festival of one-act plays in June. We’re seeking one-act entries from Juniors and Adults.
