We’re taking the opportunity to showcase all of our talented members in our next production, by staging a Xmas revue.
We’re planning a great entertaining mix of short comedy sketches interspersed with live music and singing.
If you would like to be involved – whether singing, acting, as a musician or helping behind the scenes we would love to hear from you.
If you have any suggestions for short sketches, please email Bev at firstname.lastname@example.org or bring your ideas along to our first rehearsal on Monday 4th September.

Auditions for Ladies Day by Amanda Whittington, are on Monday 3rd April at 7.30pm at Chelford Village Hall. All adults welcome. There are 4 female parts and 6 male parts to be cast.
If you fancy taking part either on stage or behind the scenes please come along on 3rd April. We’ll read through parts of the script during the evening.
Rehearsals will start from April 10th and take place every Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm, excluding bank holidays. As there are lots of bank holidays over the next couple of months, we may need extra rehearsals on some Sundays.
You’ll obviously need to be available for the dates of the production – June 8th, 9th and 10th.
If you are interesting in auditioning or would like to help backstage, please contact Bev at firstname.lastname@example.org or drop us a line via our Facebook page.
Hope to see you there!
Ladies Day by Amanda Whittington
Work, love and life are just one long, hard slog for the fish-filleting foursome Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda. But their fortunes are set to change when Linda finds tickets to Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot the year it relocated to York.
Out go the hairnets, overalls and wellies as the four ditch work, do themselves up to the nines and head off to the races for a drink, a flirt and a flutter. If their luck holds, they could hit the jackpot – and more besides…
In 2017 we are planning two productions:
Ladies Day by Amanda Whittington to be performed on the 8th, 9th and 10th June.
A play, yet to be announced, on the 30th November, 1st and 2nd December.
More details will be published soon.
All tickets have now been sold for the Saturday matinee performance on 3rd December. BUT, don’t despair, there are still some tickets available at our evening performances on 1st, 2nd, 3rd December.
Evening performances start at 7.30pm sharp ( please arrive from 7pm – there is a bar!) and will finish at roughly 10pm.
